One of the best conversations Stephen and I would have dealt with his love of broadcasting.  It was so rewarding hearing the happiness in his voice when he landed the gig at KUT.  He would frequently ask me to offer criticism but he was doing so well that all I could do was compliment.  He did that well.  Of course, he also was fun to listen to on KOOP, especially the night he allowed me to come on and talk about an upcoming softball tournament.   Of course, radio was not our only connection.  His love of service to others will always stand out among his greatest attributes.
